Cruiser - Decaf
TASTING NOTES OF: Umami. Orange. Cinnamon.
ORIGIN: Colombia
PROCESSING: Sugar Cane
FARM: Palo Rosa
Treeline has been proudly partnering with Samaria Coffee in Colombia for more than 10 years. Our founder, Natalie, first met Mauricio at a Specialty Coffee Conference in 2015, and they quickly became friends. Since then, Mauricio and his family have welcomed over a dozen Treeline team members to their farms, giving us the chance to learn firsthand just how much care and craftsmanship goes into every step of coffee production.
This sugarcane-processed decaf comes from Planadas, Tolima. It is naturally decaffeinated using a combination of sugarcane and fresh spring water. The water flows from a nearby spring, is lightly filtered through sand, and requires no additional treatment before being used in the process. The solvent itself is derived from sugarcane molasses through controlled fermentation and refined to an exceptional level of purity.
What makes this method so special is the way it gently removes caffeine while preserving the coffee’s vibrant flavor. The result: a delicious, specialty-grade decaf that tastes every bit as good as its caffeinated counterpart.
Not ready to commit? Try just a smidge with our brand new 2 oz sampler packs! 100% compostable and 100%** guaranteed to make you fall in love with a new coffee.
